“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here am I; send me.” – Isaiah 6:8

Our founder and director, John Hernadez, has often said the feet that go, the hands that send and the many knees bowed in prayer are the three crucial elements to missions.

Anytime we begin a ministry in a new location we ask ourselves three questions.

  1. Is there a need – identified by those living in the community – that we can help resolve?
  2. Have we built a meaningful relationship with one or more local churches?
  3. Is it possible for mission teams to travel to the program site?

The answer to all three of these questions must be yes before we can proceed. We believe people “going” is a vital part to the success of our missions. We recognize that by going, people can more fully understand the need. They can better trust us to responsibly and successfully use their resources. But the main reason we provide opportunities to “go” is because lives are changed when people go.
